It's a Bare Nex Gen - Ladies XL - rear entry

Rock Boots ~ Size 10

It has been in the pool once and the lake once about 15 minutes each time.

It also comes with a dry suit bag, inflator hose, and a set of poly pro undies.

Price $750 for everything. Please email me at cbennett_7@hotmail.com (cbennett_7@hotmail.com) (underscore before the 7).

This is a really nice suit, and a pretty good price. I'm kinda bummed it doesn't fit!

Buyer also pays shipping...

Ugh... I'm still a little too big for it... but it sure is a good price, and a great opportunity for whoever gets it!

Jamie,

This event is held at Gilboa, Mermet, and I think Haigh Quarry each year (I think).

It's a great opportunity to dive stock size drysuits with different types of undergarments. It's a great way to test the waters without getting soaked (double entendre fully intended!roflmao )

Soorry! Forgot that your new baby is still getting aired out to get rid of the campfire scent enhancement feature. Hope it gets to you soon. Nothing like clear Canadian water for the final rinse in that process.

Lol.. no worries... I'll be extra happy if it fits too! :D:D

Hmm... I wonder if we could roast marshmallows? :)

I keep looking at this and wondering how much "too big" will still work? No dry suit experience.

My first drysuit fit me like a garbage bag. It will definitely make a difference ~ having a suit that is too big, and having one that fits you properly. Luckily, I was able to learn to live with it, but I had to really adapt, and it's been a bit of a pain in the butt. If you are considering a drysuit, I recommend taking the time and finding a suit that fits you properly. It will be one of the best diving investments you make... as long as it stays dry.;)

I bought a new drysuit this year. After 10 years of diving I finally wore the old suit out.

My new suit was one of the first off the mfg's line. It was a new model.
It did NOT fit.

I have several hundred drysuit dives under my belt and let me tell you suit that is really too big is not a suit that is easy to dive.
I had major bouyancy issue with my ill fitting suit. I also had issues venting the suit.
Sooooooo much space for air to hide.

I now have a new drysuit ~ the mfg made me another suit (they didn't try and cut the first new suit down)

A well fitting drysuit is critical...
You can work around some things that don't fit.. but wearing a suit that you could fit another person in isn't a smart thing to consider.

You need a suit that doesn't restrict full range of motion but also doesn't trap air. Air is dynamic meaning it doesn't stay put like a weight belt;) Having pockets of air moving about when you don't want it or staying put when you don't want it can make a dive uncomfortable or downright dangerous.

Naw - she just thinks she isroflmao She's really just parrotting what she overhears Dan saying.:D

My "custom" drysuit was way too restrictive in the shoulders so I had some armpit panels added. Those helped a great deal!!

Could have made them a wee bit bigger since the 400G's still bind up (and I've gained some weight over the years). If I can get into those Arctics, then that issue may also be resolved. (WB - HINT! HINT!)

I'm too short for it! :(

Okay, a couple questions. How important is the inseam length, if it's an inch and-a-half too long, could I get the legs taken up a bit or does it matter much? How wide are the boots? If they're too narrow for me (I have wide feet), men's size approx. 8 1/2) how expensive are they? Otherwise, the measurements are pretty darned close.

Chantelle

An inch or so long in the inseam really isn't that big of a deal. You'd rather it be slightly long than slightly short. I'm really not sure of the cost of the rock boots, 'cos I've never actually used rock boots before.

But... if you'd like to try it on, we can figure something out for shipping it out to you. :)

I think you could prolly find rock boots for under a hundred dollars. I've dove with a drysuit that's too long in the armies and the leggies for while now. It's not the end of the world. It can be a pain. But you can also have them shortened too!

Thanks, Chan!! Who do I make the Paypal transaction out to?

I will be in Costa Rica, next Tuesday for a week, so there's no rush. Wish you guys could have come along, but circumstances would not allow this time.
