I would like to apologize to all of our members that have been receiving relentless SPAM PM's from a couple of our newest members: PhotoGirl and iDiveChick. We have taken steps to corral this issue and hopefully it has been resolved.
I have sent the following email to the Owner/ADMIN of the board that is the reason for the SPAM:
First of all, as one ADMIN/OWNER to another, I would like to say congratulations on your new board; however, I don't appreciate the way iDiveChick has gone about recruiting your members. She has registered on zendiving.com under two names: iDiveChick and PhotoGirl and has spammed our female members with relentless PM's about your site. This is not tolerated nor appreciated and I am sure that you would feel the same way if one of my members came over and did this. We don't mind, MOF, we encourage participation as well as even help promote other sites by allowing our members to put their favorite sites in their signatures.
The only reason I am writing to you is so that you are aware of the practices of at least one of your members. Unfortunately, with the non-repsonse of our Moderators PM's to iDiveChick (PhotoGirl), we took this as an out right attempt to spam our members and that goes against our ROC. They have been given a vacation from Zendiving.com.
Good luck with your board and I would even have helped promote your new venture but with the type of recruitment your members take, I don't want to have any dealings with Scuba Magazine.
