After reading the Just Divorced thread, it made me wonder: who out there is still single -- i.e., never married -- rather than divorced?

Being an over-50 bachelor, I used to feel like something's wrong with me. On the other hand, I wonder if I'm better off having NOT made the mistake that most of my friends have, and had to suffer through a divorce. (I have, however, suffered througha few LTRs a LOT longer than I should have)

So, folks: who's actually "single", rather than "single again?"

Define "SO single."

SO single = not even sport dating at the moment. No love interest in site; no one interested in me.... don't know of anyone that I'm interested in. Just doing my own thing! And lovin' it!

Sassy ~ I have to agree.. Better to just enjoy the life you are living and love every moment.. than to sit and think something is wrong with you.... since your not dating.

I was trying to remember the last "date" I was on. It has been a while.
That does not mean I sit at home often. I go out with friends.
Spent New Years with a dive buddy met for dinner. His last before he deployed to the sand box in the middle east.
Not a date.. but still a great evening.
Meet up with guy and gal dive buddies often.. and just enjoy my life.

Still single here, too. Not opposed to the idea of marriage, but I've had a few potential ex-wives that I chose to pass on. :D
