Somedays I never know what town I am at... Colleen can testify to that. Today it's the home base in Indiana though.

As always I am lagging behind people like Penny Pue and Colleen :D ... so I am a follower... a good follower as my dive buddies can tell you.

What to tell... hmmm... been diving seriously the past couple of years... being from Indiana quarries tend to be where... but anyplace warm anytime I get a chance. Key Largo is my favorite so far... Hawaii was nice... would like to dive Roatan...

Just now getting into technical diving, so slinging doubles is a new experience for me. Just made the transition to back plate and wing... finding out how much more stuff there is to buy... ... but getting there.

If I can't be underwater diving, I'll be living vicariously through others. lol

Hey Pue!

Would love to come to Gilboa and yes I do own a dry suit... what I need is undergarments... for the drysuit... :D Have something that fits but the dry suit is cave cut... so it's a little snug. (has nothing to do with the holiday food... honest)

Don't have a can light just yet but do have a couple NiteRider's that are close enough. (Hmmm.... seem to recall you beat me to the punch there on the can light).

If my schedule would just open up... I might actually make it to Gilboa yet again this century.

Yes indeed would love to get to Roatan... have air miles a plenty to get there but no one to go with me. Have been known to trade airfare for diving or food money in the past. ;)

Sorry this is a bit late Dave, but I have been out of town for the weekend. Welcome to zendiving.com. I would imagine that you already know a few here and the ones that you don't know, you soon will. We are pretty much an open group with a lot of knowledge, but like to cut lose when we can. We have a lot of fun here but can get serious when needed, especially when it comes to the diving information.

We are glad that you are here and I am looking to here more information about your new set up. I too, this year is my goal, to 'come to the dark-side' so all of the information that I can get will help me in the right direction.

Again, welcome and have a great 2006. Also as previously stated, Dee has a Roatan trip, I believe in May, and we have a trip to Utila in April. WE have the entire resort for two weeks....come for either week or both. With the bunch that we have going, they will be coming up with NEW laws there in Honduras after we leave. :D

Hehehe, and can I tell you how much I love my can light? ::p:

I wish my DS was cave cut....mine is a bit baggy and then it has the telescoping body so when it's got no air in it I end up looking like Jane Jetson in it. But at least I don't look like George in it, so I guess it's acceptable!!!

I'll have to let you know if Gilboa is going to happen this next weekend or not. I think it might be a good idea for me....but I'll have to see if the logistics are going to work out!!!

People who dive Ohio quarries in the winter are NUTS!

Or they have dry suits. :)

Me envy of those nice warm dry suites what while wearing one allows a diver to extend their diving season, extend their dive times and depths becuase they are toasty warm?

No way..

lol

So this *is* the same Randy from Ohio that took those poor people up to Brockville and introduced them to that technical dive shop? (making that one poor guy even poorer after buying a brand new set of doubles)...
;)
