Zendiving Forums FAQs: Common Problems
|
| Help, I can login but I can't post! |
| If you are able to login successfully but have problems posting, updating your profile or performing other user functions your account is probably onhold. It is impossible to activate an account without this email; if you feel your activation letter was not sent you will need to contact support at Contact Support. Please specify your account name and tell us your account is unable to post so we can assist you. Please also be sure and allow the email to travel through any spam filters you may have so that the email can arrive quickly. |
| I can't access certain forums! |
One of the tricks our new software allows for is public groups which premium memberships can join but you aren't a member of by default. This forum has a custom set of permissions that allows only those members in the "Name of Group" Users Group to read general messages so if you want in follow these instructions:
- Go to Group Permissions
- Select "join this group" for the 'Name of Group' User Groups.
That's all it takes to join the group and see this forum; there is no waiting for moderator approval or anything of that sort, 2 steps and you're in so tell your friends and tell anyone who you think might be confused about how to get in "here".
There is one final feature you can enable for this group, a new user title.
When the groups page loads (after you join the group) you will have the option of showing up under your current group (member, senior member, etc...) or selecting your new group title for under your posts. If you select "Identify me as a member of this group " for the 'Name of Group' Users Group, your title will change to 'Name of Group' in your profile and your posts. |
| I can login once but I can't remain logged in! |

To fix most cookie problems you will need to clear your cookies, reset your computer and log back in to Zendiving.com. For users on a private machine we recommend you check the 'Remember Me' box so you can avoid logging in every time you visit Zendiving.com. If you are concerned about privacy or appearing 'online', you can set your account as invisible in your User Control Panel (options).
