| Getting started with the photo gallery. |
Your account is created automagically when you signed up with Zendiving.com so there are no forms to fill out or processes to go through. To get started simply head on over to Photo Gallery.
As a new gallery user you have two main choices for your initial action, you can either start uploading right away by clicking "Upload Photos" in the second navigation bar (right hand side) or you can create your own sub-albums in the "Album Admin" located on the left side of the navigation bar.
As the names imply, upload photos will take you right to a page with a short form to upload your photo. Here you can select one photo along with a title and description or you can upload a zip archive containing up to 500KB of photos in a single upload (each account gets 5,000KB or about 5MB of space with more avaliable for Supporting Members. As we grow, so will our storage capacity). Our software is designed to capture data directly from your camera with all of the technical specs if your camera is set to save it to the image.
The album admin allows you to create your own specially named albums for your own categorization or for public viewing by other users. The benefit of albums (beyond organization) is that you can create private areas to store photos that you don't want the whole world to see (remember, the TOS applies to all content so this is meant for privacy, not devious acts).
A final feature is the profile page which you can also reach from the second navigation bar. This page tells you your photo history, space used, space remaining and lets you view some other basic stats about your account. You can also click on "My Gallery" to view your own photos which you may edit, title or delete as you like.

| What are the requirements and rules for the photo galleries? |
All photos must conform to the Zendiving.com rules and terms of service. Like with the forum, our photo gallery is meant to be a ?family? acceptable board and thus no nudity, racism, violent photos or images portray images against Zendiving.com?s mission statement will be allowed. Zendiving.com moderators reserve the right to remove any image for any reason although there is no guarantee that moderators will be able to screen all images before they are viewed.
By posting an image to your photo gallery you are asserting that you acknowladge and agree to the following conditions:
- You have the copyright license necessary to post this photo because it is either your photo or has been legally transferred to you or is in the public domain and
- That you will allow Zendiving.com to use the photo in it?s galleries or for promotional use so long as the photo remains uploaded.
- You are responsible for any photos uploaded to your account. These rules apply to both public and private galleries.
- All photos are intended to be for Personal Use, Scuba Diving, Personal Fitness, Bodybuilding, and Zendiving.com related use only; photos not related to one of these catergories, will be removed without prior warning.
- Zendiving.com does not backup or save any photos. No warranty or liability is taken for any loss of data.

| What do I get with my photo gallery? |
As a Registered Member, you automatically are given 5,000KB (5MB) of disk storage space on our servers with an upload file size limit of 500KB per image at 1280x1024 resolution. All Premium Memberships members will have the ability to upload up to 25MB worth of photos to their own photo gallery or into a general photo categories. More depending on which Supporting Membership you choose.
As a Supporting Member, each photo may be up to 1,0000KB (1MB) in file size with a screen resolution of 1280x1024 and should be saved as a GIF, PNG, or JPG format. Photo galleries can be split into multiple albums created by their owner and modified at any time.
Users will have the option to make their photo albums public to the world, public to Zendiving.com members, or private for themselves. |
| How do I get my photo count to show up on my posts? |
| Once you have posted your first photo to the photo gallery, our system will automagically update your account profile and display your current photo count and a link to your gallery on both your account profile page and in the stats area of each and every post you make. As you post more photos this count will be increased to reflect your growing contribution. |
